Television and media... Last year I was involved in the filming of a TV series that has been comissioned for BBC Two called 'Eating with the Enemy' that is now going to be aired. EWTE is a competition for home cooks to be mentored by James Martin and produce food for 4 of the UKs top restaurant critics, think Dragon's Den meets Master Chef... One of my recipes from the series can be found on the BBC Food website This is what the local press had to say; "Cath Hudspith beat off 1,000 hopefuls to star in the regional heats and had to travel to London to cook in front of four of the country's toughest food critics; Jay Raynor, Toby Young, Kate Spicer and Charles Campion. She is bidding to be crowned Britain's best home cook and drew on local ingredients and childhood dishes for her inspiration. Cath said: "The most nerve-wracking bit was waiting for the critics' comments, the actual cooking was quite relaxed. "The programme is all about home cooking for people interested in and passionate about food, plus the opportunity to be mentored by James Martin."
